Felipe Assadi es arquitecto por la Universidad Finis Terrae y magister en Arquitectura por la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. En 1999 recibe el Premio Promoción Joven del Colegio de Arquitectos de Chile, otorgado al mejor arquitecto del país menor de 35 años de edad. Ha sido profesor en varias universidades chilenas y otras extranjeras, en México, Brasil, Italia, Colombia y Estados Unidos. A partir de 2011 se ha desempeñado como Decano de la Facultad de Arquitectura y Diseño de la Universidad Finis Terrae. Ha sido invitado a dar conferencias en Venezuela, Perú, México, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Argentina, Estados Unidos, Italia y España. Su obra ha sido publicada en varios países, en revistas como Wallpaper y Architectural Review, en Londres; Arquitectura Viva y AV Monografías, en Madrid; Architectural Record, en Nueva York; GA, en Tokio; Domus y Casabella, en Italia, entre otras; así como en libros especializados en todo el mundo. Ha participado en exposiciones en Chicago, Barcelona, Pamplona, Londres, Quito, Tokio, Venecia y Santiago. Su obra se ha desarrollado en Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, México, Guatemala, Perú, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Estados Unidos, y Ecuador.
Felipe Assadi graduated as an architect from the Universidad Finis Terrae and earned a master’s degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. In 1999 he won the “Promoción Joven” prize of the Colegio de Arquitectos de Chile, awarded to the best architect under the age of thirty- ve. He has taught at universities in Chile, Mexico, Brazil, Italy, Colombia, and the United States. Since 2011 he has been the Dean of the architecture school of the Universidad Finis Terrae. He has lectured in Venezuela, Peru, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Argentina, the United States, Italy, and Spain. His work has been published in Wallpaper and the Architectural Review (London), Arquitectura Viva and av Monografías (Madrid), Architectural Record (New York), GA (Tokyo), and Domus and Casabella (Milan), as well as in specialized publications all over the world. He has participated in exhibitions in Chicago, Barcelona, Pamplona, London, Quito, Tokyo, Venecia and Santiago, and his works have been constructed in Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Puerto Rico, Vene- zuela, the United States and Ecuador.
